Why Every Woman Needs a Side-Hustle Business

There's no doubt we live in times of economic uncertainty. You can't turn on the news without hearing about big companies going out of business and  hundreds of people being laid off,  the next bubble the experts are predicting will pop, or the ever increasing national debt.

Not long ago, the gold standard in advice was to go collage and get a degree, then find a company where you could settle in for the next 30-40 years and retire on a 401K.

Where families used to be able to get ahead on one income, it now requires two incomes to just to get by.

But with all this uncertainty comes incredible opportunity.  Never have there been so many resources available to women to launch and grow a successful side-hustle business, working  when you want and where you want!

Today we have women business owners making a substantial income as bloggers, coaches and mentors, freelance writers, and influence marketers.

So how do you start today to launch your very own, wildly successful and fulfilling side-hustle?

Step 1 is to identify who it is you want to work with.

Your customers are the life of your business, and the majority of your time and attention will be on serving them, so it makes sense that you start right by choosing who it is that you enjoy spending your time with. Is it women, men, or both?
What are the common characteristics of the people you find the most inspiring? Who do you feel compelled to help and make a difference for?

The next step is to determine how you can use your gifts and talents to make a difference.

Do you have a marketable skill that you enjoy serving others through?

Do you have a sense of humor or a unique way of looking at the world that can inspire others?

Maybe you have a special interest or passion that you could share you knowledge around?

The third step is to just do it! Take the leap of faith to start a blog, social media, and brand presence and show up consistently for your audience.  The more you educate, inspire, and serve, the more your audience will grow.

Finally,  as your audience grows, you can begin to create offers and market and sell to them.

There are many free and paid resources to help you learn these valuable skills.
Take the time to study and watch what others are doing. Invest in your own education and your new side-hustle business will grow and flourish into something that can yield dividends for a long time to come.
